2018 Miami Week 2 Predictions - Men's

We're almost at the last 16, so I'm going to update my Miami predictions, but firstly, after the jump, a look at how the early rounds went.

• Of the 4 favourites for the title before the tournament, 2 of them are still in. Roger Federer lost to Thanasi Kokkinakis in round 2, and Novak Djokovic lost to Benoit Paire in the same round.
• Whilst Ricardas Berankis had the easiest overall draw, this didn't help him to victory, as he lost to Radu Albot in the 1st round. Yuichi Sugita and Robin Haase had the toughest overall draws and after Haase beat Sugita in round 1, he then lost to Juan Martin del Potro in round 2.
• Ricardas Berankis had the easiest 1st round draw, but he lost his opening match to Radu Albot. Despite having the toughest 1st round draw, Jared Donaldson won his match against Marcos Baghdatis, but then lost in round 3.

But what about the future? Let's take a look at what the rest of the tournament looks like.

• Juan Martin del Potro is now the favourite to win the title, Marin Cilic 2nd favourite, Nick Kyrgios 3rd and Alexander Zverev 4th.
• Pablo Carreno Busta, Frances Tiafoe and Kevin Anderson have the easiest draws relative to their ranking, and John Isner, Filip Krajinovic and Milos Raonic have the toughest draws.
• Alexander Zverev and Nick Kyrgios have the toughest round 4 matches (they play each other), and Kevin Anderson has the easiest round 4 match.
