Player of the Year - Men's

- Damir Dzumhur - For his performance at Miami.
- Juan Martin del Potro - For his performance at the Olympics and at Stockholm.
- Martin Klizan - For his performance at Rotterdam and at Hamburg.
- Milos Raonic - For his performance at the Australian Open and Indian Wells.
- Sam Querrey - For his performance at Wimbledon.
The clear favourite in the poll, Juan Martin del Potro's comeback is definitely the event of 2016 for Men's tennis, entering my rankings in April, he gained 181 ELO rating points from that point to the end of the year. Congratulations!
Player of the Year - Women's

- Kiki Bertens - For her performance at Nuremberg and the French Open.
- Caroline Wozniacki - For her performance at the US Open.
- Magdalena Rybarikova - For her performance at Indian Wells.
- Svetlana Kuznetsova - For her performance at Miami.
- Yaroslava Shvedova - For her performance at Wimbledon.
- Zhang Shuai - For her performance at the Australian Open.
Svetlana Kuznetsova had a small but decisive lead from start to finish in the poll, after gaining 130 ELO rating points over the year with consistently strong performances, culminating with a semi final at the WTA Finals. Congratulations!
Disappointment of the Year - Men's

Choosing a "bad" award winner is always tough, and the voting was close, but Rafael Nadal was unable to show his talents this year, disappointing at the Grand Slams, and losing 13 ELO rating points.
Disappointment of the Year - Women's

- Victoria Azarenka
Like the other disappointment award, the voting was close between 2 candidates for this award, but Venus Williams takes it after losing 40 ELO rating points this year, with her only glimmer of hope being a Grand Slam semifinal.
