Men's ELO Rankings 05/10/2015

As the Asian swing of the ATP World Tour gets started, there were 2 tournaments held this week, in Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur.

The Big Gainer of the week award this week goes to Benjamin Becker. He made it to the semi-finals at Kuala Lumpur with wins over the upset player of the week (see below) and Grigor Dimitrov before losing to David Ferrer (who is now ranked after playing enough matches since the end of the French Open). Benjamin's run gave him 37 ELO rating points, which moved him up only 1 place in my rankings to #100. He'd have gained more, but new players in my rankings have been placed above him.

This week's Upset player of the week is Sam Groth. He lost in round 1 to the lowly ranked player who ended up being the big gainer of the week (see above). That loss cost him 13 ELO rating points, and Sam fell 13 places in my rankings to a new ranking of #60.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Vasek Pospisil, Chung Hyeon and Mikhail Kukushkin.

Now, the the full rankings. New players in my rankings are marked with "NEW" in the ± column.
